The farmhouse Antica Torre, 3 Km from Salsomaggiore Terme with its renowned thermal springs, is situated in the foothills of a mountain range and area rich in history and exquisite scenery. The farmhouse itself is set in ca. 247 acresof rich farmland and protected by environmentally friendly fencing, so you can enjoy rambles, exploring the local flora and fauna securely and comfortably.

“Antica Torre” is a biological farm holidays in a tiny middle of age village, once well connected to Parma and Piacenza castles. Among the green hills surrounded by nature and an absolute stillness, the town of Salsomaggiore and the food valley dominate the all landscape situated between Tuscany and Lombardy located near Ligurian Sea.
Visiting these places means enjoy an historical and artistic culture made of typical food products such as “Culatello”, Parma Ham, Parmesan Cheese and many others that are the main symbols of Emilia Romagna’s food tradition listening the notes of Giuseppe Verdi’s Opera.
The farm and entire valley are dominated by the Medieval Pallaviciniana tower (reason why the farm takes the name), built ca. 1300, and other stone constructions dot the landscape which is divided into arable, meadow and pasture land and some forest. In short, a place out of time addressed to the practicality of modern farming and traditional Emilian hospitality.
Food and beverages are provided from our own produce, which you can also buy taking a little of your idyllic stays back home with you.

We have thought to call our rooms inside the Medieval tower and in the rustic buildings, with the names of maestro Giuseppe Verdi's Operas, like Traviata, Rigoletto, Nabucco etc.. For families or group of friends we offer large and confortable solutions.

The farm guesthouse is situated in a panoramic position on the wonderful hills in the heart of the Emilia Romagna Region, just a few kilometres away from Faenza. The Altini family love to preserve old recipes welcoming its guests in a traditional country house, carefully restored to blend the charm of the past with the comforts of the present.
The farmhouse has 28 hectares of land, 12 of which are vineyards while the rest is planted with cereals, fruit and Scalogno di Romagna I.G.P.
The farm holidays proposes different accommodation, as rooms with age furnitures, services, air conditioning and TV, a room for disabled person, two flat-studios for 2/3 people, two-rooms flats for 2/4 people.
The Agritourism offers breakfast with genuine homemade salad and sweet food.
Restaurant with typical and a local dishes of Romagna combined to wines own production. At guests’ available, a swimming pool with wide garden, volleyball field, paths and mountain bike.

The farmhouse TRERE' was born in the early '60ies. The founder was my father, Valeriano Trerè. He had always been a farmer, following the family's tradition, but he decided to start his own business buying 14 hectares of land on the hills of Faenza. Faenza is an ancient village of 60.000 inhabitants and it is well-known for its old traditions in ceramics.
Since 1997 our farm has welcomed overnight guests in rooms and small-apartments, there is a nice swimming pool and our restaurant is open during week-end, this is special place to stay for a relaxing holiday to discovery the niceword of wine.
We are in a nice position where it's easy to visit Faenza (near there is also an important track for motocross" Monti Coralli) where you can look for ceramics ans visit the Intenation Museum of Ceramics; Imola (10 Km) important for Grand Prix Formula 1; Brisighella, important Medieval town (7 Km); Riolo Terme important town for SPA center (7 Km) and for Golf center (18 hole); Ravenna (40 km) important town for "Mosaici" and Churchs; Bologna (40 Km) a beautiful city, Ferrara (80 Km) with Comacchio valley and Pò river, Modena (90 km) famous for aceto balsamico and Ferrari (Maranello), Reggio Emilia (120km) and Parma (140 km) with production of Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano and Prosciutto di Parma. In the end (35-70 km) the Adriatic coast (Milano Marittima, Rimini, Riccione, San Marino….)
