Farm Holiday: IL BARATTINO

Il Barattino is composed by three independent farmhouses, surrounded by orchards and vineyards, it offers a pleasant image in line with the traditions and local architecture

"La Quiete", "L'Alba" and "La Rugiada", the three houses which form the fann, date to the end of '800 and rise as famers' houses. They have been wisely restored leaving their character untouched. The furniture is all original and authentic.
The holding on which rises the farm is easily reacheable by any means and offers the opportunity with a few minutes driving or biking to reach sport centers, horse riding centers, and good restaurants. At the Lake Trasimeno, with a distance of 7 km there are opportunities to play water sports and to visit the beautiful isles: isola Maggiore, Minore and Polvese, with only a few minutes of boat.

In this surrounding rises the farm Pantella, whichs stays on the holding Il Barattino, with a surface of 17 hectars. It is cultivated on orchards, vineyards, and olive trees with methods which aim at the safeguard of the environment, people, and animals.

Surrounded by secular olive trees, between cultivated fields and rural villages, the hills that come from Lake Trasimeno to Lake Chiusi, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, the Agritourism "La Dolce Collina" is a moment of tranquility and relaxation, as well as an excellent starting point to discover Umbria and Tuscany.
The apartments, all with central heating, are of various sizes, each is fully furnished and equipped with kitchen or kitchenette, living room / bedroom and, bathroom and verandas outside. We have a special agreed guest rates at thermal center "Fonteverde" spa (km 12) In respect of World's limited resources, we are self-electric power producers: we have installed 100 sqm of photovoltaic panels and then there is separated waste collection.
