The “Masseria Sant'Angelo” is located in an ancient olive grove at Corigliano d'Otranto in a lively village in the heart of the “Grecia Salentina”.
The rural country-side is characterized by olive groves and wide fields where many trullies and masserias can be seen.
The various coastline surrounds the Salento. You can find all types of coasts, sandy beaches or rocky areas. The large beaches can be reached in 15-20 minutes of driving time passing through a wonderful landscape.

Scalilla is a charming farmhouse located in the heart of Salento, 3 km from the sea, between Lecce and Otranto.
The farm is surrounded by ancient olive groves and produces extra virgin olive oil, pickled vegetables, jams, flavored oils that can be tasted in the old mill, recently renovated and converted into a restaurant where the kitchen, tied to the traditions meets the Salento flair and innovation.

For countryside lovers, Scalilla offers the possibility to use small comfortably furnished apartments or to enjoy the coolness of the pool, immersed in the green of the golf course "Pitch & Putt" nine holes. Castello di Mudonato is a perfect point to start the discovery of Apulia, so very rich of history and art. In an oasis of peace you can enjoy a holiday in a Saracen Tower of the 14th cent. immersed in olive- and vineyards in biological agriculture. In the old Dairy from the 16th cent. nearby the Tower, is a very comfortable living-room, for all our gusts, with a great fireplace, with television, library and table-games.
Outside of the antique walls there is a tennis-place and a walk under the arcades. In our countryside, with his intensive mediterranean scent, you can make nice walks by foot or bicycle and, if you want, enjoy yourself to have a part by the Grape-harvest.
In 10 min. by car you are on the Ionian-seaside, with his wonderful colors and beaches.

The farmhouse "La Fattoria" is just 2 km from the historic centre of Otranto, in a privileged position close to the sea, immersed in the green countryside of Salento, along the streets of history and of art's.
The company extends on an area of about 20 hectares of cultivated fields and olive groves, an ideal place to enjoy a holiday of relax, long walks through the nature trails to discover the Salento and its beauties. The sandy beaches and reefs closer to the structure are Otranto, Baia delle Orte, Baia dei Turchi, Laghi Alimini, Porto Badisco, all within 5-10 minutes with the car.
The uniqueness and typicality of the farm can also be found in: crops from wheat to vegetables, from the prized oil production, from jams to cheese to digestive. Not counting the livestock for the production of milk, eggs and meat. All products that are presented and offered in the tables of the farmhouse.
The farm is unspoiled nature, serenity, tranquility, is warm combination of genuine products of the earth and deep values of hospitality. Conduction is familiar and welcome is that it reserved to friends.
Accommodation, immersed in the peace of olives are finely furnished and equipped with all comforts. To make it even more pleasant and relaxing stay, the farmhouse puts at guests disposal, a lovely swimming pool, with Jacuzzi and solarium, where it will be easy to regenerate body and mind by continuous stress of modern living.

Farm Holiday: MASSERIA CIMINO

Masseria Cimino is a fortified farmhouse with tower dating back to the 18th century. The Masseria was built just meters from the sea, adjacent to the archeological site where the ruins of the Ancient Roman city of Egnatia, founded in the 6th century B.C., were discovered.
In the 1700's, blocks of stone originating from the perimeter wall of Egnatia were used in the construction of the farmhouse, on the walls of which markings dating back to the Ancient Roman period can still be clearly seen.

Masseria Cimino, surrounded by expanses of vegetable gardens and century old olive groves, stood at the center of an important agricultural estate, specialized in the cultivation and the preserving of fruit and vegetables.
Selection, pressing, packing, and storage were all carried out in the farm's various outbuildings. Like great part of the Masseria in Apulia, part of the main farmhouse was used to lodge the workers and as occasional residence of the landowner.

In 2001, on the land surrounding the Masseria, the San Domenico Golf Club was built, with spectacular 18 hole professional golf course overlooking the sea. In 2005, the Masseria Cimino was completely restored. Great care was taken to preserve the original architectural features, building materials, and colors of the old farmhouse.
