Farm Holiday POGGIO ALLA FAME

The Poggio alla Fame Estate takes its name and origin from the greatest naval battle ever fought, at Lepanto. We are at the top of our private Chianti hill in a very panoramic, peaceful and relaxing area where you will be able to forget modern life stress while holding a glass of our wine and tasting some Tuscan specialities. You can swim in the pool with a children section, play tennis in our tennis court, train your skills at our basketball corner, play table-tennis or read one of our multilingual books. You can also take a stroll enjoying the balsamic flavour of our pine, cypress and olive trees, the view of dears, squirrels, foxes, porcupines and the very friendly welcome of our dogs and cats. And this is only 20 minutes away from Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra. We are also since 30 years a biological farm and beside we produce our own electricity, our own warm water with fully natural and ecological equipment.
