Farm Holiday: SAN MARCO BIOLOGICA
The farmhouse San Marco Biologica is situated in Tuscany, in the area of Alta Maremma called Etruscan Coast, in the province of Livorno. It is at the foot of the hills surrounding the old town of Rosignano Marittimo, among olive groves and Mediterranean flora, only 3 km far from the seaside, which alternates wonderful cliffs, long beaches and magnificent pinewoods.
The farm is about 28 hectares wide. Our most important produce, which are strictly organic, are: cereals, fruit and vegetables. Besides we breed horses, calves, pigs, lambs, poultry and rabbits.
To prepare our dishes we follow traditional, simple, sovoury recipes and use only what we produce in our farm (according to the organic method), such as poultry, calves, pigs, lambs, vegetables and fruit. Among our specialties you can find typical Tuscan first courses, grilled or roasted meat, vegetables, olive oil, wine.
Our bedrooms, all with a bathroom and conditioned air, are placed both on the second floor of the main building, which is air conditioned, and in the nearby annex (dependance).
Our horse centre offers every kind of services and facilities: a covered manége, a jumping field, stables, paddocks with huts, saddle rooms, washing services, a smithy and an infirmary. Besides you have the possibility to take rides in the beautiful surroundings (if you are a rather skilled rider). -

It has 4 flats made up of living-room with a kitchenette, a divan bed, a bathroom with a shower, double room, TV Sat, air-conditioner, a big garden with a green lawn for children to play on.

Farm Holiday: LA RANOCCHIAIA
Our farm, “La Ranocchiaia”, is situated on the fertile “Val di Cornia” plain in the centre of Tuscany, in the sunny and intensely farmed countryside, among the “Costa degli Etruschi” sea.
The Farm is run by the owner who personally welcomes the guests and attends to their accommodation. It has seven flats, one of which is intended for the disabled.
The flats have been completely restructured and tastefully furnished. They are part of three country houses which are reached by means of a cypress flanked road. Each flat has its own illuminated garden and is furnished for comfort in an ideal family holiday atmosphere.
The perfect geographical position of our Farm allows the exploration of the beauty of the Maremma Toscana. Such areas include:
the Gulf of Baratti, Populonia and Volterra, which are fascinating tokens of the Etruscan Civilization;
Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto, Bolgheri and Massa Marittima which are interesting medieval towns and villages;
You can also visit important and world-famous cities of art, such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena.
Moreover, our guests will find the Spa and Thermal Lake only 3 kilometres from our Farm.
If they so prefer, they can participate in the discovery of our “Strada del Vino” the splendid local wines and typical food.
Our Holiday Farm, being a permanent structure, is open throughout the year. -

Only 5 km away from the sea, the Casale Francianina is typical Tuscan farmhouse that has been turned into apartments with spacious sitting rooms complete with TV, a cooking area and some also have an open fireplace.
The Casale Banditelle, situated some 10 km from the sea, was once one of the Grand-Duchy’s staging posts along the old via Aurelia and it has retained all of its original atmosphere. Simple and economical yet very comfortable, it is an ideal base for day trips to beaches along the Etruscan Coast or any of the nearby mediaeval villages. -
