Farm Holiday: BORGO LA CAPRAIA
LA CAPRAIA is a medieval village, perched on terraces in the Pratomagno hills at 600 mt. above sea level, overlooking the valley of the Arno River.

Farm Holiday: FATTORIA CASTIGLIONCHIO
The Fattoria di Castiglionchio farm is really an old fortified settlement, dating back to the 12th century, halfway up the hill in the small valley of the "Mulino delle Rivolte" stream,, 15 km from Florence.
It boasts a historic past and many famous owners, "...the house is towered and has several annexes, the ancestral property of the noble family, Ricasoli Zanchini, formerly known as "Da Castiglionchio" of Florence,.," the family name of the famous jurist, Lapo da Castiglionchio, originates from this little castle.
The tower and the palace, both still standing, still have the two original castle doors. This is the very tower where Messer Lapo lived and where he kept his family’s contracts and manuscripts.
Castiglionchio is found only 15 km from the centre of Florence, rich in history, art and culture. Immersed in typical Tuscan countryside amongst vineyards, olive groves and rolling hills.
The apartments are all in the romantic, rustic style fitting of an eighteenth century farmhouse; terracotta floors, wooden beamed ceilings, wrought iron or four poster beds and open fires in the living area, they're also equipped with satellite TV and direct dial telephones. Each apartment has its own outdoor area with chairs, table and sun shade.
Two outside swimming pools are within easy walking distance of the apartments as is the tennis court and children's play area. There's also the opportunity to enjoy horse riding and mountain biking on the estate.
Guided visits of the farm take place weekly allowing the clients not only to see the wine cellars and country life museum, but also sample the farm products. Activities for children are organized and an Internet Point is available at the reception.

Club Le Cannelle provides you with the possibility to spend your holiday in our Torre, an impressive watchtower. It is the only one in the park that can be rented.

You can also reach very easily, places full of history like Rocca di Pietracassia or Castello di Spedaletto.

Restoration work has been sympathetically carried out over a number of years using materials and colours typical of Tuscany. As a result, Molino di Foci now offers its' guests the possibility to clearly envisage the life and history of the old watermill while enjoying any modern comforts, amid a wonderful setting surrounded by fields of wheat and spectacular sunflowers.
