The farm holiday “Colle delle Stelle” is situated on the edge of the “Gola della Rossa” Natural Park and is close to the spectacular Frasassi caves.
The old farm-house which has been lovingly restored and renovated, is at 500m above sea level with wonderful views over the hills down to the sea and is set in the perfect tranquillity of the Marche country-side.
The “Stars Hill” (Colle delle Stelle) is a 17th Century Country House built in local sandstone, which still has its original charm. The Farm House is situated on 20 hectares of cultivated land, around Mergo area, an inspiring medieval village on Marche hills.
The building is surrounded by a big garden with beautiful walkways and has a stunning swimming pool with panoramic view.
The farmhouse has six double bedrooms with spacious en-suite bathrooms and three traditional style dining rooms where you can enjoy simple home cooking prepared with only the freshest natural ingredients.
Guests can spend time relaxing in the refreshing private swimming pool and those who like music and parties will appreciate the dance floor.
There is a large paddock with ten horse-boxes where it is possible to take riding lessons with an instructor and treks through the park can be arranged.
“Colle delle Stelle” lies near the Sibillini mountains, not far from such historic centres as Jesi, Fabriano, Urbino, Loreto, Ancona, and Senigallia with its soft sandy beach. It is the ideal starting out point for discovering the beautiful and, as yet, unspoiled region that is: the Marche.
