Farm Holiday: COLLE TOCCI

The Colle Tocci agritourism establishment is situated on top of a hill in the heart of the Aniene River valley right at the border of the Monti Simbruini Regional Nature Park, an area with a rich past of ancient historical and religious events.
Very near to the Benedictine monasteries of Santa Scolastica and San Benedetto, which are enriched with art and situated in an extraordinarily beautiful natural setting, the Colle Tocci agritourism establishment is also located just a few kilometres from the centre of Subiaco, which has famous medieval monuments such as the Rocca Abbaziale (Abbot’s Castle), the Bridge and the Convent of St. Francis, borgo della Valle (the Valley village) and many others.

Chestnut forests surround the agritourism establishment and century-old olive trees, which produce exceptionally high quality, flavourful and very light olive oil, cover the lands. It also raises fruits and vegetables to be served to guests.

The villa, which is from the eighteen hundreds, was recently renovated maintaining the original structure and atmosphere. The interior furnishings also have the same sought after, passionate appeal. There are five double rooms available that all have their own private bath and they are all decorated individually with furnishings that are reminiscent of grandma’s antiques.
The cuisine is all based on natural genuine products and traditional dishes from the Aniene Valley as well as regional specialties. This is an ideal location for those who appreciate traditional-style cooking and old-fashioned recipes that have (almost) ceased to exist!
There are stables located one kilometre from the establishment that offer beautiful trails for horseback riding. For canoeing enthusiasts, the Canoanium Club in Subiaco organizes lessons and competitions for all ages on the Aniene River. Just 15 km away, the Monte Livata and Campo dell’Osso ski runs are found in the enchanting beech tree forest in the Simbruini Mountains.

Farm Holiday: TENUTA COLFIORITO

The farmhouse Colfiorito is situated at few km from Rome, in a place where a Roman villa was built 2000 years ago. Today it is a modern farm of 30 hectares with a vineyard and olive groves. There is an ancient oil-mill that still retains its old grindstone.
The visitors find a warm and comfortable ospitality in rural restrored buildings.

Farm Holiday: QUARTO DEL CUORE

If you wish to sightsee Rome and you also like countryside, you’ll enjoy Bonifacio’s Country Home, which offers accommodation in three delightful and fully equipped apartments.
The Country House is an ancient farmhouse once owned by the Colonna Princes and recently restored; built in early 20th century and recently restored it’s surrounded by delightful grounds which are part of the Decima Natural Reserve, in the enchanting Rome countryside.
The farmhouse is quite near EUR, a south neighbourhood of Rome, but also the Castelli Romani, the historical hill towns surrounding Rome, and the seaside are within a few miles.
Each apartment is delightfully furnished and consists of a bedroom, a living room (with fireplace, double divan-double-bed and TV), a kitchenette with fridge and a bathroom, all with heating.
There is a playground in front of the farmhouse where children can play while adults may relax in a shady arbour, perhaps with a good book. At your request you can also taste fresh fruit and vegetables produced in our farm by natural methods.
At about 55 yards far from the house, there is a sport centre open all year round, equipped with tennis courts, facilities for five-a-side soccer and beach-volley, and a swimming pool open only in summertime (June 15th – September 15th). Just few steps far from the Country House there is a pizza-restaurant, with a bar enclosed, that is also open all year round and provides music and entertainment on summer evenings.

Close to Rome (and also to Vallelunga and Martignano lake), surrounded by greenery of Parco di Veio, is situated on a small hill surrounded by 3 hectares of fruit trees, olive trees, and a beautiful old oak, our cozy cottage.
My name is Alice and I am a young woman that with the help of his family has started this wonderful adventure.
I will be glad to welcome you in a quiet corner of paradise for a lunch prepared with genuine products of our vegetable garden, pasta and homemade bread, wine of Fiorina and cakes homemade by me.The menu changes every week and is fixed-price: 15 euros (drinks and desserts not included).
If you need few days of relax, Sotto La Quercia, with its cozy rooms: Guacamole, Agave, Blueberry, Diva, Ninphea.
We offer wellness walks and on reservation: horseback riding, Shiatsu massages, Yoga sessions and baby Yoga sessons, lesson of homemade pasta and bread.

Farm Holiday: TENUTA DI VERZANO IL CASALE

Tenuta di Verzano is an old house in the Roman countryside just 25 miles north of Rome. The property is used on several occasions as film set.
The apartment has its own entrance in one of two houses. It combines comfort with the distinctive charm of the house. The facilities are modern while retaining many of the furnishings. The apartment can accommodate up to 5 people in two large bedrooms, dining room/living room, kitchenette and modern bathroom. It enjoys an unspoilt view, with well-kept park and a swimming pool with spectacular views.
The villa is in an ideal location that allows guests to relax and enjoy themselves in a rustic environment.
