Farm Holiday: AGRINCONTRI
In a secluded and peaceful place, a few km from Todi, Agrincontri is a farmhouse on an estate of 200 hectares located on hillsof an altitude of 600 metres between the villages of Montecastello di Vibio and San Venanzo.
The Santa Maria cottage was already being employed as a farmhouse in the eighteenth century. It is surrounded by a fertile garden, a vegetable-garden, a swimming-pool and a beautiful hilly landscape. Love for the rural tradition stems from the local respect of the surrounding habitat.
The family-run kitchen uses only home-made products taken from our vegetable-garden and farm. On the table, you can taste the products from the forest, herbs from the fields, as well as wild asparagus picked by ourselves. Our menù is therefore extremely simple, a result of traditional rural cooking, inspired by products which come directly from the fields.
You are free to choose, if you would like, to play tennis in the stillness of the forest, or if you would like to refresh yourself in the swimming pool and after, if desired, have something to drink. Otherwise, during the coldest moths, you also have the opportunity to sit near the fire-place whilst tasting a glass of wine or reading a book or even just talking with some friends.
Agrincontri allows you to play arch or ride horses in the riding school near the farm. It is possible to bring one’s own horse and to join our trekking. Moreover, by request, we organize also individual trekking. For those who are less experienced, there is the chance of taking some personalized lessons before facing our trekking.
The farm offers not only the chance to live an unspoilt countryside, it can also be a reference point for visiting the surroundings. Due to the vicinity to the motorway E45, which connects the most important cities of Umbria, one can reach the main points o f interest, such as Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, Marmore waterfall, Clitunno's apring in a short drive by car. -

Typical farmhouse situated in the valley overlooked by the most famous medieval towns of Umbria.
Our structure is composed of two apartments and four rooms all with private entrance, private outdoor space, bathroom, heating/air conditioning, refrigerator, safe, hair dryer and coffee/tea wafer. The apartments have two bedrooms and a kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook for six people. Outside, in our great park we have a barbecue, a swimming pool with whirlpool, a children's playground and a small exposition of vintage gear.
At five kilometres, you can also find horse-riding where you can receive riding lessons, or leave your horse. -

From Casafumata, Valfabbrica is only 4 kilometres away. Gubbio, Assisi and Perugia are all about 25 kilometres distance. Walking along wooded paths you can reach the Hamlet of Giomici and the river Chiascio basin. -
